About Us

Redeemer Lutheran Preschool and Childcare (PSCC) recognizes the importance of education both in and out of the classroom. Our programs are designed to build on the children’s interests and introduce new areas for them to explore.

Music and Movement

Here at Redeemer Lutheran PSCC, we understand that children are always learning and always moving, and we do our best to harness that energy into musical ability. We introduce children to a variety of songs, dances, and musical activities that focus on singing, coordination, and listening skills. Concepts such as “high and low”, “loud and soft”, and “up and down” are taught in a game-like atmosphere. Instruments are used alongside stories and colorful props to make music exciting and fun!

Second Step

The Second Step program helps our littlest learners harness their energy and potential by teaching them to listen, pay attention, control their behavior, and get along with others. When students enter kindergarten with the self-regulation and social-emotional skills that are taught through the research-based Second Step program, they are set up for success in the classroom and beyond. These concepts are presented through age-appropriate puppet scripts, and songs that are fun and easy to learn.

Tumble Bus

Statistics show that today’s children are not getting enough exercise. The Tumble Bus is an optional addition to your child’s week that encourages exercise and controlled movements through gymnastics and dance. This kind of structured play and free expression helps foster a love for movement, and help strengthen good habits at an early age. The Tumble Bus is transformed into a mini gymnastic center on wheels, with pint size equipment perfect for small children. Classes are taught on the bus once a week, and available at nominal cost as an addition to your child’s normal preschool/childcare programing.

Redeemer Lutheran PSCC understands that, as parents, quality and safety are one of your main concerns when it comes to deciding where to entrust your children. To help put your mind at ease, all of our staff members meet Department of Children and Family Service education and college requirements, undergo a thorough background screening, and all teachers are infant/child/adult CPR and first-aid certified.
